Matt Cooke is the Head of International for the Google News Lab, a team dedicated to working with publishers to provide training, discuss innovative partnerships and share ideas. Matt has been at Google for 3 years, before that he was a broadcast journalist at BBC News for 8 years.

Whilst at BBC News, Matt produced, reported and presented various TV News programmes. Matt reported on a range of stories including London’s preparations for the Olympics, the Royal wedding and the 2010 UK Election. He started his career as a student journalist for The Guardian.
