Biography
Dr. Christine Horz is a senior researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Media Studies (IfM), Ruhr-University Bochum/Germany. In 2017 she was visiting professor for Communication Studies at the University of Greifswald. Her research interests are diversity in the media and transcultural media studies as well as PSM-media policy and audience activism. She currently chairs the section International and Intercultural Communication in DGPuK and she is vice president of RIPE (Re-visionary interpretations of the public service enterprise). Christine is also founder and chair of the association for the
establishment of audience councils in Germany (publikumsrat.de).
