Edith Heitkämper is an award-winning journalist working as an editor for NDR television in Hamburg. She's co-founder of ProQuote Medien, a non-profit organisation that advocates for increasing the number of female representation in leading positions in German media. The latest study by ProQuote Media shows that women in leading positions in German media are a minority, and that female representation at the decision-making level is particularly low in regional newspapers.
