Biography
Sean Gallagher is a British photographer and filmmaker who has been based in Asia for over a decade. His work focuses on highlighting environmental issues in the Asia-Pacific region through multimedia storytelling which includes photojournalism, documentary filmmaking and the use of drones.
He is a 7-time recipient of the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting travel grant. His images are represented by the National Geographic Image Collection He is a Fellow of the UK’s Royal Geographical Society, the US’s Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute Science Journalism Program and City University New York’s Resilience Fellowship Program.
