Biography
Jan Hollitzer is editor-in-chief at Thüringer Allgemeine, a newspaper with a focus on local news. The latest challenge for the editorial staff was covering the elections in Thuringia in times of a polarized population between far-right and left-wing parties. His areas of expertise are digital transformation, newsroom organisation, and innovative journalistic formats. Previously, Jan was deputy editor-in-chief at Berliner Morgenpost and t-online, one of the biggest news portals in Germany.
