Biography
Graduated in 2014 from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (Unicap), Karoline worked as a radio and newspaper journalist before joining the 'Blog do Torcedor', the soccer channel of Portal NE10.
She is currently part of the team of reporters at Jornal do Commercio, who produced the #OnebyOne (in Portuguese, #UmaPorUma), an award-winning report that mapped femicide and impunity around gender-related killings in 2018, in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, located in Northeastern Brazil. Karoline also produces and hosts “Apois, viu”, focused on stories that take place in Pernambuco or feature Pernambuco people around the world.
