Biography
Maliha Amirzada has been working as a radio broadcast journalist at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty since March 2010. She hosts a weekly Facebook live show for Pashtun women mostly from Pakistan’s North Western Province Khyber Puktunkhwa, Balochistan and Afghanistan. The women and girls in the shows openly speak about their achievements and struggles in life.
Her work covers political, social and human interest issues as well as women, children and health for the Pashtun audience in Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Pashtun diaspora.
