Biography
Petr Hamerník is the co-founder of Geneea, an AI company that develops products for automatic text processing, concentrating on advanced NLP solutions for media companies and for news analysis in general.
Apart from Geneea, Petr has co-founded other companies. The first was during his studies at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague: NetBeans, a software company, which created a well-known development environment for Java. Later, he co-founded and managed the Czech branch of ChemAxon and worked for many years on software development for pharmaceutical companies.
