Chloé Farand is a senior reporter at Climate Home News, the only truly global climate news website covering climate politics and diplomacy. Her work includes covering the UN climate negotiations and bringing the global picture of climate politics to as wide an audience as possible.
Before joining Climate Home News in June this year, Chloé worked as a freelance reporter for the investigative environmental media outlet DeSmog UK. Her work focused on corporate lobbying obstructing climate action, the impacts of Brexit on climate policy, the networks pushing climate science denial, and environmental activism in the UK, including Extinction Rebellion.
Her work has also appeared in national publications including the Guardian, the Independent, and the BBC’s Radio 4 programme From Our Own Correspondent. French and British, she has also written for French publications including the environmental news website Reporterre. She graduated from the Cardiff School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies’ postgraduate course in 2015.
