Biography
Micah Gelman is the director of video and a senior editor at The Washington Post. Micah oversees all business aspects of Washington Post video while also managing all editorial production and distribution. He has has led the award-winning Post video team to 150%+ growth in views year over year. Before joining The Post in April 2015, Micah led the digital video strategy and managed the development of TV Everywhere products at Discovery Communications. Micah has also served as Executive Producer, U.S. Video at The Associated Press where he oversaw all domestic online video production and US-based content creation for AP Television News. Under Micah’s leadership, his teams have won a combined 14 Edward R. Murrow Awards, 5 Emmys and a Webby Award and contributed to The Post’s recent Pulitzer Prize.
