Jennifer has been working as a journalist for the MEN Media group for more than a decade, starting out as a trainee before moving on to cover local and national politics, social affairs and investigations.
Her day-to-day coverage includes Greater Manchester's councils, MPs, devolved government and most recently the region's new mayoral system.
Investigative work has included exclusives and in-depth features on NHS failures, housing, the asylum system and the spread of the drug Spice on the streets of Manchester.
She was named specialist writer of the year at the Society of Editors Regional Press Awards 2016.
Jennifer was born and brought up in North Wales and studied English at the University of Manchester.
